The cabin featured a prominent east facing skylight that bathed the interior with natural light during the day. Rough hewn redwood trusses supported the roof and lent the space a barn-like feel. The library area featured a massive concrete hearth that continued up into the sleeping loft above serving to heat the entire interior space.
