ruth weiss to read @ 3g:
At 6pm on Friday, November 7th poet ruth weiss will do a brief poetry reading at art3g in
Fort Bragg's Company Store. This reading will accompany the work of her
longtime partner Paul Blake whose work is currently on display as part of the
gallery's show entitled, The Outsiders. Other local artists now exhibiting are JoeyKraus,
Madame X, (aka anonymous) and R. Dair. The show also features out of town outsiders, Dorman David from Texas and Eric Roberts from Oregon. The Outsiders showcases work that is not typically seen in the area and will continue through Nov. 27th. Gallery hours are from 1 to 6pm W-Sat.

3g presents the Outsiders:
Art3g proudly presents the Outsiders, its fall show featuring 6 artists from outside the usual conventional art stable. Featured are locals Paul Blake, Madame X, Joey Kraus and Richard Dare. Out of town Outsiders include painter Eric Roberts, creator of the Modern Folk Tarot Deck, from Oregon. And from Texas, Dorman David, former bookman turned southwest surrealist whose misadventures in the world of rarified books have recently been chronicled by renowned screenwriter Larry McMurtry. An opening reception will be held Friday October 3rd starting at 5pm. Edible art will be offered by Masako Arita, audible art by David Duret, and to round out the evening three improvisational dance performances will be given by Darius at 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30.
